This Privacy Policy explains how Fedeus LTD ("Fedeus", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit fedeus.com (the "Website"), contact us, or engage our forensic IT and digital data services.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR"), the Cyprus Law Providing for the Protection of Natural Persons with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data (Law 125(I)/2018), and other applicable data protection laws.

3. How and Why We Use Your Data (Legal Bases)

Where we process case or device data on your behalf, we generally act as a data processor and process such data only on your documented instructions, under the terms of the relevant engagement. Where required, a separate data processing agreement will govern that processing. Where special category data (Art. 9 GDPR) is involved, we rely on the applicable condition, such as the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or your explicit consent.

4. Confidentiality of Case Data

We understand the sensitivity of forensic engagements. Case and device data is handled under strict confidentiality, accessed only by personnel and vetted subcontractors who need it for the engagement, and processed using appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

5. Cookies

The Website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and to keep it secure (for example, to protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Website works.

Where we act as a data processor on behalf of a client, requests from individuals whose data we process on the client's behalf will be referred to that client as the data controller.
